Basically, we received our Pivo with the first shipment that was sent out. We did the typical thing and turned it on, paired the remote, saw that it worked (spun around), charged it, then placed it back in the case. We then left on a trip a few days later and left the Pivo behind in the case at home.
Fast forward about 4-5+ weeks since we last used it. We pulled the Pivo out, set it on a tripod, attempted to turn it on and nothing. No lights, no beeps, no nothing.
Well, our first real use was a bust so we went home and plugged it in thinking that the battery may have just been dead.
I've attempted to use it @15mins charged, 1hr charged, and 2 hours charged. At this point, I can get it to turn on, but whenever we try and get it to move it turns off (both remote and phone). So I plugged it in and attempted the same thing, this time though the head did spin some, then turns off.
I've attempted everything I can think of, but nothing seems to work.
- The head can spin and is not jammed or locked up.
- The device turns on, but won't stay on.
- While plugged in, has spun a little bit.
FYI in the Phone app at all stages of this process once I was able to get it connected it said the Pivo battery was @ 100%. Yes, even @2 hours on a charger but still won't stay on.
I wish I knew what was going on, but am thinking that there is something defective with it and it may need to be replaced.
